How do I convince my "landlords" to let me keep a kitten?

Sit down and talk to your landlord and say i will pay an extra XXX in my rent each month to keep a kittie. If there are any damages to the home i will agree to pay in full amount how ever much it costs to repair or replace the item in the apartment. Sign a contract and then have him or her sign the contract as well. If the landlord does not agree to have an animal in the home then you really have to respect that. You are paying someone else to live on their property so its really there descison to whats what. Even though they are family rules are rules. Good luck!
