Can I become an actress?

Sure, there's no reason you can't try. You might want to consider studying some kind of theatre performance in college so you can further hone your skills. Choosing theatre as a "career" can be really difficult--you may find you have to travel to all kinds of places because you have to follow the jobs. I have a friend who lives in a different state for months at a time depending on what show he's doing and where. And that's if you can find work, which you can't always, so you'll probably have to take on side jobs. But plenty of people make a living with acting, so just work hard and do your best!
