Why won't my cecropia caterpillars eat?

Since cecropia caterpillars commonly eat Maple trees leaves, Wild Cherry and Birch trees leaves, I wouldn't see why it eat it. You should probably make sure they are cecropia caterpillars and try feeding them fresher leaves. If you don't eat, you might want to ask somebody for help.
