Was it rude of me to tell her this?

Two of my friends came over my house at 11 this morning to swim in my pool. My best friend had on a bikini and when she came out, her pubic hair was showing out of her bikini. My other friend saw it to and it was just awkward. So I was ran up to her and told her in her ear that her pubic hair was sticking out of her bikini. She lookembarrassedd and I told her I could let her borrow one of my bathing suits that had a little sash thing for the bottom. She looked really pissed and said she was just going to leave. Do you think it was rude of me to point that out? I think she's really mad because I sent her a text and she ignored it.
