Help with a Bar MItzvah outfit?

So I have a white spaghetti strap dress with a brown sash just below the bust, and it has pink and brown flowers on it. I can either wear a white crocheted short-sleeve sweater and white flats with it, or a half sleeve length brown sweater with brown flats. What do you think I should wear?
