Any ideas of spring wedding colors for 2012?

I'm getting married 5/5/12. I'm starting my planning now, i have a few ideas of things i want to do but i'm stuck on trying to pick colors. I was thinking of a deep purple like plum with white and silver accessories. My thought was to have the men in black tux and white shirt with the plum vests my girls in white dresses with plum sash and silver accessories. Or vice verses so they wont. Outshine me... But idk if thats spring.y so any ideas would be helpful. Please and thank you.
